the enrichment channel
The Enrichment ChannelThe Enrichment Channel is Detroit Public Television's exciting interactive learning system that uses a multimedia approach to teaching curriculum-based arts, culture, humanities and science. The project produced three Literacy Content Units (LCUs). Each LCU consists of a CD-ROM and VHS-broadcast program, as well as valuable lesson plans, assessments, and other downloadable resources that are ready-to-use in the classroom, home, or other learning environment.

Biz Kid$
Tuesdays from 5:00-5:30 p.m. ET
BIZ KID$ is the fun, new, fast-paced TV series where kids teach kids about money and entrepreneurship. Created for school-aged children, each half-hour episode features several young business owners and philanthropists who share their success stories. Whether it's a skateboard designer, a candy store owner, or a hip-hop music producer, the kids on the series inspire young viewers. Sponsored locally by DFCU Financial.
A Place of our own
This daily program is designed for parents and anyone else who takes care of young kids: grandparents, nannies, babysitters, and home daycare providers. These Peabody Award-winning series combine an entertainment format - the daytime talk/demonstration show - with solid educational information on how young children learn, and what adults need to know to help kids be prepared for kindergarten and beyond.
