Peace is a Woman's Job
Allyson Adams as Jeannette RankinPeace is a Woman's Job is a docudrama about the courageous Jeannette Rankin. You will be inspired by the journey of the first woman elected to the U.S. Congress in 1916, and the many contributions women have made toward our rights and freedoms of today.
A contemporary young woman (Lindsay Brooks) is taken by surprise when the ghost of Jeannette Rankin (Allyson Adams) drives up in her Model T instructing, "Get in, I'll show you how to change the world!" Away they go through Rankin's early suffrage days, her successful campaign for Congress, up to her controversial "No" vote against U.S. entry into World War I.
