Better Investing logoFROM THE CORNER OF MAIN STREET AND WALL STREET COMES BETTER INVESTING
Don't believe 'em if they tell you how to get rich quickly. The more likely way to get rich is slowly. Better Investing offers a dose of time-proven philosophies and expert advice on how an individual can become a successful investor - for life. It's the place where Wall Street meets Main Street.
David Chilton at the New York Stock Exchange, interviewing Murray M. Teitelbaum, Education Director, NYSE.Better Investing is hosted by David Chilton, author of the best-selling investment book, The Wealthy Barber, and host of the hit public television programs The Wealthy Barber and The Wealthy Barber Returns. Chilton creates a comfortable setting for individuals to tune in and get solid advice for long-term success in the stock market, and to hear great stories from the corner of Wall Street and Main Street. The program features companies that might be studied for stock purchase, letting a Main Street Investor pose tough questions directly to company executives.
"Better Investing is to financial improvement what This Old House is to home improvement - fun, educational, and driven by an entertaining and enthusiastic host - in this case, Dave Chilton," said Bob Rossbach, series co-executive producer.
Topics for this season include: mutual funds; investing for college; the automotive sector; starting young; computers and the internet as investing tools; comparison shopping; and common stock market mistakes.
